A man has been charged after checking out of an Indian Ocean Hotel room and leaving a bunch of stolen computers and laptops behind.
Police said the 31-year-old Wanneroo man stayed overnight at the popular Scarborough hotel on November 9 and checked out the next day but hotel staff found electrical items left behind in his room.
Police said they were allegedly stolen from vehicles and homes in the northern coastal corridor.
The hotel contacted police on November 19 when the same man booked a room for an overnighter and he was arrested.
A police dog found on the man at the time a mix of drugs including cannabis and meth as well as scales, drug bags and drug paraphernalia.
Police also found cash, a replica fire arm, ammunition and more cannabis and drug paraphernalia when searching inside his Wanneroo home.
The man has been charged and appeared at Perth Magistrates Court on November 20.
He was remanded in custody until December 20.
